What's happening at the library this weekend?

1st and 3rd Saturday of every month its FARTS in the Library!  Drop by and pick up a Take and Make kit with everything you need to create a zero waste, creatively upcycled awesomely wholesome project!

2nd Saturday of every month: Take and Make Super STEAM Saturdays!  Drop by the library and pick up a package that contains everything you need to make a simple STEAM project!

4th Saturday in the month come and take part in the Brick by Brick Lego Challenge!

Drop by the library and pick up a kit for extending Lego play.

Screen Smart Summer, 2021!!!!!!!!  Details to come on Family Guerrilla Gigs (live concerts), library programs, Bike and Seek! and Screen Smart Challenge cards with prizes for all!

Girls Do Code courses, offered by the Revelstoke Fab Lab, coming to a fabrication lab near you!

The Rev Lab, an addition to the Revelstoke branch of the Okanagan Regional Library offering recording software, a gaming console, Adobe design Suite, programmable robots, coding toys, a green screen kit, digital conversion equipment, a virtual reality headset and more!!! 

For Teens......

Stay tuned for Teens Teach Tech, a Screen Smart initiative pairing knowledgeable teens with seniors who would like to improve their computer skills!  If you are a techy teen and interested in joining please contact us at 250-837-5095 or come in to the library for a chat.

JABC TechWorks 2021: Virtual

This virtual event helps to expose high school students to the career opportunities that exist in B.C.’s dynamic tech sector Students will explore the skills and education required for tech jobs of the future Features a live virtual event (with flexibility as it is offered on four dates and times), plus access to an exciting video library featuring conversations and activities facilitated by B.C. tech leaders and tech-enabled companies. Provided free of charge and is open to all students!
